The vital records registered at the Embassy, are regularly sent by diplomatic pouch to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which in its turn transmits it to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in order to register it in the Lebanese civil registers. The required documents can be sent to the Embassy by post
The required documents for a Marriage registration :
* Download and fill out the Marriage Application Form.
* The original Marriage Certificate, with 2 copies.
* Two copies of a recent Individual(بيان قيد افرادي) and Family Extract of Civil Status(بيان قيد عائلي) (not older than one year) for Lebanese's husbands & spouse.
* If the spouse is non-Lebanese, copies of his/her detailed birth certificate( translated into Arabic) and passport are required.
* If the application is sent by post a return self-addressed stamped envelope is required.
