The vital records registered at the Embassy, are regularly sent by diplomatic pouch to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which in its turn transmits it to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in order to register it in the Lebanese civil registers. The required documents can be sent to the Embassy by post.
The required documents for a Birth registration :
* Download and fill out the Birth Application Form.
* The original Birth Certificate, and two copies.
* Two copies of a recent Family Extract of Civil Status(بيان قيد عائلي)
* Two copies of the the Lebanese Marriage Certificate if the mother is not Lebanese.
* If the application is sent by post a return self-addressed stamped envelope is required.
