Rasha Haddad is the 1st Secretary at the Embassy of Lebanon to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. She started her current posting in August 2019.
Her educational background includes an Executive Master of Public Administration from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) - London (2023), a Master of Advanced Studies in Private Law from the Lebanese University (UL) - Beirut (2015) and a Bachelor of Laws from La Sagesse University (ULS) - Beirut (2011).
In November 2017, Rasha introduced the Lebanese Gastrodiplomacy concept under the slogan “Tasty Lebanon” to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants (MoFAE) to promote Lebanon’s culture and economy through Lebanese cuisine and products.
Rasha joined the Lebanese Foreign Service as a career diplomat in 2016.
Before joining the diplomatic service in 2016, Rasha worked with the UNDP on the regional project: Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries (ACIAC).
Rasha speaks Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
